Crave All Day Cafe
Crave is a self-initiated brand concept for an all-day café inspired by the adventurous rhythm of Bend, Oregon. Created as an exploration in how far a hospitality identity could be pushed, the project imagines a fully realized brand world spanning everything from coffee-fueled mornings to cocktails after sunset.
The concept celebrates Bend’s outdoor culture through playful hand-drawn wildlife illustrations—animals reimagined skiing, biking, climbing, paddle boarding, and floating the river. These characters gave the brand personality, storytelling, and a strong sense of place while avoiding expected mountain-town clichés.
A bold retro wordmark, expressive script typography, and a palette inspired by pine forests, desert sun, river blues, and vintage trail signage create a nostalgic yet modern feel. Messaging such as “For the Wild Life” and “Fuel Up, Wind Down” positions Crave as a social basecamp for locals and visitors alike.
Developed across signage, menus, packaging, merchandise, social media, and environmental graphics, the project became a fun exercise in building a cohesive brand system that could live across every touchpoint. Crave is both a concept and a case study in how storytelling, place, and personality can turn a simple café idea into an immersive hospitality brand.
